Carina Nacewicz

Dr. Carina Nacewicz is a native Wisconsinite who is thrilled to be back.
After growing-up in Eau Claire, she moved to Madison to complete first her BS in Zoology (1997) followed by her DVM (2004). She then completed internship training in Florida, which led to a position as an emergency clinician in Seattle. Over the next few years, her growing passion for internal medicine and surgery surpassed the appeal of the emergency room, and ever since she’s found her home in general practice. Most recently, despite many enjoyable years in the pacific northwest, the draw of midwest culture and being close to family won over.

Outside of practice, Dr. Nacewicz has been long-interested in integrative
modalities and has just begun study in the foundations and applications of herbal medicine and acupuncture. She also enjoys travel, hiking and
camping, and is unusually-obsessed with badminton. She shares her home with Athena, a geriatric mutt, and two black cats named Carlton and Nigel.
